Charles Starrett - Gotta Agree Its a Good Western
This is my kind of western - good looking, good with gun and with his fists hero in Charles Starrett, attractive, spunky heroine in Finis Barton and nasty two-faced villain by J. P. McGowan. More or less a typical story: underhanded bad guys, trying to fix it so they can take over someone's ranch, find themselves thwarted by tough, no-nonsense good guy. Acting is good, script is decent, action moves along at a good pace with a twist and turn or two along the way. Satisfying ending as the bad guys get rounded up and guess who is going to get married. Particularly satisfying after watching nonsensical Hoot Gibson mish-mash "Lucky Terror." Four stars for being right in the pocket.

A good western ... but a bit short.
========= Contains Spoilers ===========
Well, some aspects are a bit bland and unconvincing; like the part with the death of the brother for instance, because the other one does not really sounds like he is hurt my by it. Also the whole plot is rather condensed and thirty additional minutes would not have hurt. Therefore, the whole pace is rather high and some stuff is left open; I do not want to go into details.
The ending is nice somehow and it is fun to watch this film.
Also the quality is quite good, except for the chase at the end, which is a bit too dark and blurry.

Good Western With Charles Starrett
A better than expected western staring Charles Starrett. A good plot that progresses nicely to a satisfactory conclusion. The film has action,romance, some mystery, a lot of horses, and a good supporting cast.
